You may also call your insurance company and ask about your mental/behavioral health coverage. Here are some specific questions that you might want to ask:

• Do I have “out-of-network” coverage?

• Do I have coverage for mental/behavioral health services?

• What is my deductible and has it been met?

• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

• How much do you cover for an out-of-network psychologist?

• What is the coverage amount per session?

• Is primary care physician approval required?
